For thousands of easy closings and openings, the two sides of 3M(TM) Dual Lock(TM) or Scotchmate(TM) Reclosable Fasteners mesh together for quick fastening, clean lines, and sleek profiles in many applications. Select from pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed, plain-backed fasteners, or special piece-parts. When 3M Reclosable Fasteners are pressed together, a secure reclosable attachment results. Eliminate holes, snap caps, fastener heads and protrusions for clean lines and sleek profiles in many applications. Invisibly attach signs, display components, access panels, and many other frequently removed parts. Tensile strength is high enough to replace mechanical fasteners in many applications allowing for quick, secure fastening.

3M(TM) Dual Lock(TM) Reclosable Fasteners are constructed of polyolefin stems with mushroom shaped tops which offer five times the strength of standard hook and loop. Use to secure frequently removed parts where high tensile strength is required such as: access panels, signs, display components, and automotive headliners.

3M(TM) Scotchmate(TM) Hook and Loop Reclosable Fasteners

Strips of fabric containing hundreds of hooks or loops mate together with light finger pressure. Simply pull the strips apart by hand to unfasten. They can be ultrasonically welded to nylons or polyesters or sewn to a variety of substrates. The hook strip is covered with tiny, stiff hooks, about 300 hooks per square inch (46/ sq cm). The loop strip is covered with thousands of matching soft, pliable loops.
